How exactly did we become "us"? It's actually a story of epic proportions. George was a warrior of great might and Marie was a fair damsel in distress. She had been captured by an evil fire breathing dragon (actually, he just had wicked bad breath). As George had fallen for this fine maiden, he was determined to rescue her from the Forest of Worcester (aka, WPI). He concocted a plan to lure the dragon away from the forest and into a clever trap. As legend has it, George slew the dragon with one swipe of his sword. George and Marie lived happily ever after. The end.
The previous paragraph was, "How exactly did we become "us"?" according to George. Here is how it really happened... Marie was a second year RA in Ellsworth Apartments at WPI. She moved in about a week and a half before school started to ready the hall and attend training. George was a member of the CCC Help Desk, so he moved in early too, to attend training and help new students set up their computers. George happened to be one of Marie's residents (in the apartment right next door!). So, he decided that it would be nice to introduce himself to the RA (what was he thinking?). Marie thought that this was VERY strange, but invited George in (George still doesn't understand why this would be strange). Anywho, they found out that they would both be writing their Sufficiency A-Term with the same advisor (Professor Ljungquist). Marie also found out that George was a Java guru, this information would come in mighty handy since she would be taking her first programming class ever (CS 100x - Intro to Programming in Java). After much Sufficiency procrastination and Java help, Marie and George became great friends. I guess the rest is history.
