Marie's Family...
I'm the third of three children born to Roger and Denise. Incidentally, I'm the only girl. My brothers are quite a bit older than me. Joseph was born 7 years before me and Marc was born just 11 months, 6 years before me. So, you're probably all thinking to yourselves, hmm, all three children have birthdays within one month of each other. To top that off, my mother's birthday is November 20 and my father's birthday is December 7. So, from November 20th to December 20th, we celebrate all five members of my immediate family birthday's. We have so much birthday cake from Thanksgiving to Christmas, it's ridiculous.
My family keeps growing! I now have three neices!!! Joe married Jenith on November 22, 1997. I was a bridesmaid in their wedding. About a year and half later, my niece and god-daughter, Mahala (Mahli) Grace, was born on June 29, 1999. My second niece and god-daughter, Vivienne Joy was born on February 8, 2002. My third niece, Anyssa Hope was born on June 19, 2003. Poor Joe, he's the only boy in the bunch!
My whole family has a great time together. We like to do things outdoors, like hiking, biking, waterskiing, or downhill skiing.

George's Family...
Now let me tell you a little thing about my family... they aren't really what you think they are. You must have heard that Transilvania is on the western edges of Romania. Well, a little known secret about the Opricas is that we are all from there. We only came to America for the BLOOD!!!
Ok, so I made that up. We are actually pretty normal (HAH!). I am the oldest of two brothers... by 13 years. You can say that I pretty much grew up as an only child. It all changed when my brother Chris was born on October 7th 1990. Now that I think back to it, my parents couldn't have planned it any better. I mean, I was a built in baby sitter... and a good one at that. I learned to change diapers, heat the milk to the right temperature, and do all the other things you need to do to a baby. Honestly, I loved it, and I loved (and still do) my little baby brother, although he's grown up quite a bit now.
Let me tell you about the rest of my family. My dad, Matt, is an avid tennis player, water skier, snow skier, biker, and any other sport you can think of. Julia, my mom, isn't quite as passionate about sports as my dad is, but she still enjoys a game of tennis every now and then. My grandparents on my father's side have since passed away, but I was lucky enough to have known my grandfather till I was a teenager (he even made it to America). My mom's parents, Stefan and Emilia Manole, are doing well and actually live near my folks in Connecticut.
My dad's brother and sister are also here in the states. His sister, Rodica, is living in Canada with her husband, Adrian. My other uncle and aunt, Serban and Tina were the first ones of my immediate family that came to America, so that makes them kind of like pioneers. Their son (my cousin if you don't know how all this family stuff works) Bogdan, is married to Wanda. They have three children, Daniel, Madelyn, and Adele. I still have some relatives (Lavinia, Bianca, Lidia, Nelu) in Romania and they've come to visit once or twice.
